UPDATE: THE WINNERS!

SeedComp 2011 is a competition to find the NW’s most promising digital business ideas. There is a prize fund of £10,000 to make it a little interesting but our real aim is to find entrepreneurs and prospective entrepreneurs that we can work with to develop their ideas to get them to market and, if needed, access additional funding.

Key Dates:

• Deadline for entries is noon on May 6th, 2011
• Shortlisted entrants will present their ideas to the judging panel on June 9th
• Awards evening is also June 9th

Update:

We received nearly 30 entries for SeedComp, each proposing an exciting new digital media business for Derry. The shortlisted entrants will be notified on or before May 13th and final presentations, judging and awards will all take place on June 9th.

It’s worth saying that there are some truly exceptional ideas being proposed by some equally exceptional entrepreneurs and while there can only be 4 winners, we’re already looking at how we can work with many of the entrants to help them progress their ideas.
