Very interested in applying to add digital dimension/s to developing project Aras Colmcille. This project has immediate plans to use a restored listed building as a heritage centre based around the early monastic settlement that founded the city and the founding father Colmcille/Columba. Already discussed a few ideas with interpretative designer for the project to include iphone/android phone app/page turning software for presenting Book of Kells/hardware and software to assist with explaining early history by “unpeeling” layers of maps and buildings to show development of city. Funding(although not very high tech) could assist us with digitising a lot of written material on old school records and roll books.
